Your scheduled Mentor in Residence at the Joel D. Valdez Main Library on Mondays is Andrew Asselin. He has gained a broad business perspective throughout his career as a CEO, VP, GM and Director for small and large scale casino, hotel, and resort operations. He has been involved in securing bank loans in excess of $500 million dollars and worked on the design and construction of new facilities. He also has extensive nonprofit experience serving as a board member for organizations including the Boys and Girls Club of Tucson, the Nevada Resort Association, the Reno Chamber of Commerce, and the Reno Downtown Redevelopment Agency.
